Heating options of a house
Veselý, Přemysl ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Toman, Filip (advisor)
The bachelors thesis deals with the topic of heating possibilities of family houses. The work is divided into two parts. The first chapter deals with the search for heat sources used in local central Europe conditions. The practical part deals with economic calculation and economic assessment for used heat sources. Its aim is assess the correct economic intensity of resources used for different family houses, divided by heat loss.
Cost analysis of heating sources in passive houses
Vítek, Marek ; Biolek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Tuscher, Martin (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is cost analysis of heating sources in passive houses. The first part of the thesis is theoretical and focuses on basic concepts of passive house, renewable energy sources, heating sources, economical indicators. In the practical part there is cost analysis of chosen heatig sources of model house. Result of this thesis is evaluation of design options and optimal solution.
Environmentally advanced retirement home
Voves, Martin ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The subject of my master's thesis is the design of an energy-efficient house for the elderly. The building has three floors. The construction system is made of ceramic blocks filled with glass wool. The building is covered with a flat vegetation roof. The retirement home has 15 apartments, a doctor's office, a common dining area, a common room and offices for administration. A technical concept for the building environment was designed for the building. The dining room, office, lounge and doctor's rooms are forcibly ventilated. The premises are divided into three zones and each zone has its own air handling unit. Heating is provided by two condensing gas boilers and the whole building is heated by radiators. An assessment was made for the design of photovoltaic panels. In the third part, an assessment and research of sources for heating and hot water was prepared.
Design of the heat source of the local district heating system
Svobodová, Veronika ; Skála, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on district heat supply, heat sources, machinery and safety equipment of boiler rooms. The main goal of the thesis is to modernize parts of the heat sources with the respective boiler room equipment in accordance with the latest available technology. The generated thermal energy is used for heating or hot water production for residential and non-residential buildings in the vicinity of the boiler room. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses in more detail on boiler rooms, specifically on heat energy sources, machinery and safety equipment of boiler rooms, system ventilation and combustion exhaust. The findings are applied in the design of the new boiler room layout. It is followed by a detailed description of the current state of the boiler room and heat networks. An essential part of the work is the assessment of layout of the current heat sources and the creation of a new design for the replacement of insufficient sources and related equipment. The last goal is an economic overview of the designed project solution.
Optical device for breath CO2 concentration analysis
Škorpík, Daniel ; Milek, Jakub (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
This Master's thesis discusses about the measurement of the carbon dioxide concentration in breathing by an optical analyzer using infrared absorption spectroscopy. The method is described with the technical focus on individual components needed for subsequent implementation. A circuit diagram is created to produce Arduino platform devices that serve as hardware to connect and power individual parts and software to create a user environment, followed by a Bluetooth module to transmit measured data to mobile devices where real-time results are presented.
